Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) is a technique used to obtain an infrared spectrum of absorption, emission, photoconductivity or Raman scattering of a substance. An FT-IR spectrometer simultaneously collects high spectral resolution data over a wide spectral range. This confers a significant advantage over a dispersive spectrometer, which measures intensity over a narrow range of wavelengths at a time.

Nicolet™ iS™10 FT-IR Spectrometer

The Nicolet™ iS™10 FT-IR Spectrometer is practical and simple to operate, greatly improving the productivity of our operators. Minimal time is needed to operate it (only a single click is often required) and yet, this model offers the highest confidence in materials identification and verification.
